K-9 Cart Dog Wheelchair Forum

Hello! Per my vet's suggestion, I have ordered a quad cart for my elderly Chihuahua. We have not received it yet. He has some strength and movement in his back legs, but very little, if any, in his front legs. I am guessing he will be pretty nervous about the cart, initially. Any suggestions for motivating him to move himself forward (besides using his favorite treat)? I could potentially see the front paw drag getting in the way of him moving forward, especially if he is already insecure about the cart. Just some things I have been thinking about.
