The most common problems we encounter when a two-wheel K9 cart is fitting poorly are:
  • 1. The length of the bars are too short. They should rest directly behind the front legs.

    2. The shorter front strap should go over the shoulders. The longer front strap should go under the chest.

    3. The front top strap should go straight across the bars. If it is too long, it will cause the cart to dip down in front.

    4. The front chest strap should not be tight. It should barely touch to the body. If it is too tight, it will put pressure on the shoulders.

    5. The height of the cart should be adjusted so the pads of the feet rest in a normal position on the ground. Use leg slings if the dog is unable to use hind legs.
We welcome your pictures if you are unsure whether your cart is adjusted properly. Digital pictures of a top view, side view and rear view are most helpful.
